VoIS COMMUNITY

VoIS Community allows Internet Solutions (IS) VoIP users to leverage off our vast customer base to significantly reduce call costs. It allows calls to be routed between any IS VoIP customer using the IS Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network. This community covers current international destinations as well as local and national. As these calls do not require any Telco breakout, it is possible to offer them at a considerably lower rate than the current Telco offering.

Depending on the calling patterns, savings of between 70% and 85% can be achieved on community calls. Calls are billed on a per second basis, with no minimum cost per call and at a uniform rate, regardless of the distance of the call.

VoIS CONTACT INTERNATIONAL

The VoIS Contact International service is a solution through which IS carries inbound international Call Centre calls and terminates them at a local destination on behalf of the customer.

The service is delivered on top of the IS MPLS VPN and calls are billed either on a per second basis, with no minimum cost per call or on a fixed monthly bandwidth cost depending on the customers requirements.

Depending on the customer’s calling patterns, savings of between 40% and 50% can be achieved.

VoIS NATIONAL

VoIS National provides IS customers with the ability to make significant savings on their long distance call costs. Calls are carried from the customer, over the IS MPLS network, and then carried onto the PSTN, to any location in South Africa.

Depending on the customer’s calling patterns, savings of between 10% and 35% can be achieved on long distance calls.Calls are billed on a per second basis, with no minimum cost per call, and at a uniform rate, regardless of the distance of the call.

The VoIS National service can be combined with the VoIS Community service, thus resulting in a greater combined saving on outbound calls.

VoIS CELLULAR

VoIS Cellular provides IS customers with the ability to make further significant savings on their fixed line to cellular calling costs.

Calls are carried from the customer, over the IS MPLS network, to the IS centralised cellular infrastructure. This solution eliminates the need for individual on-site premi-cell network provisioning. The customer leverages off the IS infrastructure investment and does not need to be concerned with onsite network balancing, free minute utilisation and number portability.

Depending on the customer’s calling patterns, savings of between 35% and 45% can be achieved on cellular calls. Calls are billed on a per second basis, with no minimum cost per call, and at a uniform rate, regardless of the distance of the call.

IS has established interconnects with the cellular providers and currently use these for redundancy when required.

VoIS GLOBAL

VoIS Global provides IS customers the ability to make significant savings on their international call costs. Calls are carried from the customer, over the IS MPLS network, and then onto our international partner Telco's who complete the call.

Depending on the customer’s calling patterns, savings of between 40% and 60% can be achieved on international calls. Calls are billed on a per second basis, with no minimum cost per call.

The VoIS Global service can be combined with the VoIS Community service, thus resulting in a greater combined saving on outbound calls to international VoIS customers.

VoIS EXTEND

The VoIS Extend service provides international travelers with a UK or US fixed line number that will connect the caller to a predetermined VoIS Community destination in South Africa. Local connectivity to the VoIS Community is a prerequisite for this service.

This service offers the following benefits to the caller and company:
- The caller only pays a local UK or US call rate and does not have exorbitant call costs to claim back from the employer after the trip.
- The VoIS portion of the call is billed directly to the company.
- The total call cost is greatly reduced.
- Local South African companies can advertise a UK or US number to internationally based clients for them to call at local UK or US
rates.
